Move Details

Dragon Tail inflicts damage with reduced priority, forcing the target to switch with the next available Pokémon in Trainer battles, but it ends wild battles if the user's level is equal or higher than the target's. If the user faints due to effects like Rocky Helmet, Rough Skin, or Iron Barbs, the target remains. However, Dragon Tail fails against Suction Cups, Ingrain, or Substitute. In Contests, when used after moves like Spikes, Stealth Rock, or Toxic Spikes, it grants the user three additional appeal points.
